課程概述 |
We are moving toward a world in which trade & investment barriers are declining; perceived distance is shrinking due to advances in transportation & telecommunication technology; cultural differences are converging and economies are merging into independent, integrated global economic system. The globalization has created both opportunities and threats for businesses accustomed to operating merely in their home markets.
Given we have witnessed the globalization of markets and production, this course aims to look at how the nature of international business is changing in response to the changing global economy; we are to discuss important issues raised by rapid globalization; and we will review implications of rapid globalization for individual managers. |
課程目標 |
1.To prepare students to be effectively participants in the worldwide marketplace;
2.To prepare students to attain “cultural literacy”;
3.To make students familiar with managerial approach to international business. |
